The Wildweeds

The Wildweeds were an American rock band active during the late 1960s and early 1970s. They were best known for their fusion of pop, rock, and rhythm and blues, and their single "No Good to Cry" achieved significant regional success. The band's most notable member was Al Anderson, later of NRBQ, whose distinctive guitar playing and songwriting influenced the group's sound. Despite their short lifespan, The Wildweeds' contributions to the regional music scene of the Northeastern United States are remembered in rock history.
