Thin Lizzy is an Irish rock band, formed in 1969 by lead vocalist and bassist Phil Lynott. The group is known for its distinctive dual lead guitar style and hard rock sound, with notable hits such as "The Boys Are Back in Town" and "Jailbreak". Their influential works have significantly contributed to the development of hard rock and heavy metal genres. Despite numerous lineup changes, Lynott was a constant presence until his death in 1986, after which the group disbanded and later reformed under different incarnations.
