Times Two was an American synthpop duo comprised of Shanti Jones and Johnny Dollar, active in the late 1980s. Their musical style leaned heavily on the pop-oriented, electronic sound of the era, with their most notable hit being "Strange but True". Although the group did not have a significant impact on the music scene, their work is exemplary of the synthpop genre that was prevalent during their active years. Their brief stint in the music industry ended after the release of their only album, "X2", in 1988.
