Tom & Jerry

Tom & Jerry was an early moniker for the American musical duo known as Simon & Garfunkel, consisting of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. Formed in 1956, they initially adopted the Tom & Jerry pseudonym to record their first minor hit, "Hey, Schoolgirl". Their musical style, deeply rooted in folk and rock music, was marked by their harmonious vocals and thoughtful lyrics. This duo is considered a significant influence on the 1960s folk-rock movement, with their most influential works including "The Sound of Silence", "Mrs. Robinson", and "Bridge Over Troubled Water".
