Underworld

Underworld is a British electronic music group formed in 1980 by Karl Hyde and Rick Smith. The band is known for their distinctive fusion of techno, house, drum and bass, and dub, marked by Hyde's spoken-word lyrical style. Their innovative sound became emblematic of the 1990s UK electronic music scene, particularly with their influential 1994 album, "Dubnobasswithmyheadman". Notable for contributing the track "Born Slippy .NUXX" to the "Trainspotting" film soundtrack, Underworld significantly impacted the mainstream visibility of electronic music.
