The Vinnie Vincent Invasion was an American glam metal band formed in 1984 by Vinnie Vincent after his departure from KISS. Known for its high-energy, theatrical performances, the band's style was characterized by powerful guitar solos, rapid-fire riffs, and flamboyant fashion. While the band only released two albums — "Vinnie Vincent Invasion" (1986) and "All Systems Go" (1988) — before disbanding, the group's technical prowess and over-the-top aesthetic made a significant impact on the glam metal scene of the late 1980s. Notable members included Vincent and singer Mark Slaughter, who would later form the successful hard rock band Slaughter.
