Wall Of Voodoo

Wall of Voodoo was an American new wave band from Los Angeles, active from 1977 to 1988. The group was led by Stan Ridgway and is best known for their 1982 hit single "Mexican Radio." Wall of Voodoo's music combined elements of punk rock, new wave, and spaghetti western soundtracks, creating a unique, darkly comic sound. Their inventive use of synthesizers and drum machines, coupled with Ridgway's distinctive vocal style, significantly influenced the development of the alternative and industrial rock genres.
