Warren Storm

Warren Storm is an American musician recognized as a pioneer in the swamp pop genre, a unique blend of rhythm and blues, country and western, and Cajun music, native to Louisiana. Born in Abbeville, Louisiana in 1937, he made his mark with his distinctive drumming and emotive vocals. He's best known for his 1958 hit "The Prisoner's Song", which was instrumental in establishing the swamp pop sound.
