Yazoo, also known as Yaz in the United States, was a British synth-pop duo active during the early 1980s. Consisting of former Depeche Mode keyboardist Vince Clarke and vocalist Alison Moyet, Yazoo is known for their unique blend of electronic and blues influences. They gained significant recognition for their hits "Only You" and "Don't Go," which showcased Clarke's innovative synth programming and Moyet's powerful, soul-infused vocals.
