Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) is a pioneering Japanese electronic music band formed in 1978. The trio, composed of Haruomi Hosono, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Yukihiro Takahashi, are renowned for their innovative use of synthesizers, sequencers, and drum machines.
