Apache/ Rapper's Delight

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. The A side is a surprising remake of the 1961 hit instrumental by Jorgen Ingmann. The flip is a re-release of the group's first hit from 1979 (on Sugarhill 542), which is widely regarded as the first rap single. "Rapper's Delight" uses the rhythm track from Chic's Disco hit "Good Times." (It's "Rapper's Delight" that's included on both the Dave Marsh and Rolling Stones lists.) Note: This copy has light storage wear that results in Near Mint grades for its Labels, Vinyl, and Audio.
