This was Gary Lewis & the band's second big hit, right after "This Diamond Ring." Of particular note is the flip side, which is a note-perfect rendition of the surf music sound as popularized a few years earlier by the likes of Jan & Dean and the Beach Boys. Note: The A side audio is EX, as this styrene copy was clearly played a bit in its day. The B side, however, is clean M-. Also, the label is basically M- but has some "bubbling" and light ringwear.
