I Hear You Knocking / Route 66 Theme

Originally released on Imperial 5356. This was the terrific original version of the tune Dave Edmunds brought to the top 10 in 1970. In 1955, the song was a victim of U.S. radio's continued segregation into "white" radio and "black" radio. That segregation was about to be shooed away, as white rockers like Elvis and Carl Perkins hit the scene, but this one was just a wee bit too early to benefit. This is a like-new copy of the out-of-print Collectables reissue, in its Collectables sleeve.
