The brilliant Michael Nesmith song on the B side didn't make much impact in the waning days of the group's popularity. The Davy-Jones-sung A side was the original plug side, but the Nesmith side proved more popular after a few weeks. "Someday Man," by the way, is a non-album cut. Note: The picture sleeve is the first pressing that shows "Someday Man" as the A side. (The sleeve was subsequently redone with "Listen To The Band" on top.) The sleeve grades a strong EX, reflecting a touch of ringwear (see scan). The 45 itself has nearly Mint labels, and pristine audio.
