Soul Makossa/ Hot Mud

This L.A. studio group gets in on this song's terrific action, taking a few sales away from Manu Dibango's original version. Both were released in the U.S. at the same time. Fortunately, the song is good enough that there's plenty of room for two fine versions. :-) Note: This copy grades has strong-EX labels with light storage wear. The vinyl (styrene) has some notable surface scuffing indicative of jukebox play. The audio is EX with a touch of peak-level distortion.
