Spreadin' Honey/ Charley

This is a new, unplayed stock copy from the Louise Neal 45 Collection. This group had previously released these tracks as the Soul Runners. (At the time of this posting, we had both of those Soul Runners 45s in stock. See this page for any Soul Runners 45s we have in stock.) The A side is worth seeking out, but the real treasure IMHO is "Charley," which had earlier been an A side for the Soul Runners. Check out the mp3 snippet (a representative file from our archives), and I think you'll hear what I hear: The same bass riff that David Essex & company put down for 1973's techno/pop smash "Rock On". Well, you gotta admit it's close! FYI, in 1969 Charles Wright took over as group leader, and the band added his name to the group's. Note: The A side label has two red "X"s on it. Like the labels, the vinyl is graded Near Mint, reflecting a bit of very light storage wear. The audio is huge and amazing and pristine Mint.
