This was the group's last hit single before breaking up (not counting the brief reunion they had in 1976) so David Gates could pursue a solo career. Unfortunately, Gates never again managed to write and record a song as beautiful as "Aubrey." Note: This copy comes in a vintage Elektra Records factory sleeve. It has Mint labels. The vinyl grades a strong EX, reflecting some scuffing, but I'm grading the audio Near Mint because it's strong and undistorted with only very light surface noise occasionally audible.
