From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. It's a crime against pop music history in America that this classic synth-pop recording failed to get the proper airplay here. Even more criminal is that it wasn't even released on 45 in the group's native U.K and didn't chart there until a 1990 release resurrected it. Fortunately, it was quite well known in dance clubs at the time. Alison Moyet is simply one of the best female vocalists of all time! The A side is an edited version of the 5:45 LP cut, and the B side is a terrific "Dub" version not available on album. This is the first pressing, credited to "Yazoo" on both the record and the cool picture sleeve. Note: This beautiful 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), and the picture sleeve is nearly flawless!
